If you're looking for a fun Christmas project that includes some sparkle and some faux calligraphy....I got you! These make great homemade gifts, too!
Project Steps:
Step 1: Open the top of your ornament.
Step 2: Pour a small amount of glue mixture into the ornament. Turn the ornament so that a thin layer of the Mod Podge(glue/water mixture) covers the inside. I recommend turning the ornament upside down and allowing any excess to pour out onto a paper plate.
Step 3: Add that glitter (or sprinkles/confetti) !! This is the fun part...add as much as you want!
Step 4: Put the top of your ornament back on, so all that glitter stay put.
Step 5: This is my favorite step...personalize your ornament with a little faux calligraphy! Write names, holiday words, the year...whatever your little heart desires!
I recommend using an Oil Based paint pen if you want the writing to stay permanent for years to come. Water Based paint pens work well, too...just not as permanent! My favorite paint pens are: Sharpie, Posca, and Molotow Pens.
Step 6: Add a cute ribbon and hang it on your tree!
Here's another example I made using Rainbow Sprinkles a couple years ago...
